The My Care patient portal is empowering patients across Northern Ireland, specifically those who receive Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy. A new feature was added to the My Care on Wednesday 26th November and it offers a quicker, more convenient way for people to access physiotherapy services without having to attend their GP service. The new process is quick, convenient and secure, helping patients get support sooner.
Self-referral is available on My Care for adults over 16 who need support and advice to manage symptoms related to muscle strains/joint sprains/back and neck pain.
Allie Cameron, Principal Physiotherapist in the South Eastern Trust welcomed this new feature, she said: “It’s a really positive step forward and increases the speed of access for patients as well.”
Over a quarter of a million people in Northern Ireland have signed up to My Care and this new feature is another step in empowering patients in their health journeys, make sure to sign up now.
