Join us on February 6th for the next episode of Digital Dispatches when Tom Simpson, Deputy Chief Digital Information Officer, Dept of Health and Director DHCNI and Eddie Ritson, Digital Transformation and Innovation Director, DHCNI introduce the Artificial Intelligence(AI) Framework for Health and Social Care across Northern Ireland
Whilst AI is just another digital tool, it’s use in HSC is becoming increasingly more common.
The speed of its development, the complexity of the technology and the ethical and regulatory questions it raises mean we need to give it specific attention. Colleagues across the HSC system have indicated the need for some guiding
principles.
Hear how the framework will provide these principles to help us introduce new technologies safely, ethically and in way that genuinely supports our people and improve outcomes for patients and service users.
We will also be joined by colleagues from primary care who are using AI tools and how the guidelines can help their colleagues navigate this space with confidence.
Who can attend?
All Health and Social Care staff across HSCNI are all welcome to join. Staff who are interested in digital developments and in particular the digital activities that are being implemented to improve ways of working for staff and improve outcomes for patients and service users across the Northern Ireland health service.
