It can be overwhelming trying to keep on top of your health information, for example, by managing multiple appointments and tracking your test results, especially if you receive care from various specialists. That’s why My Care, Northern Ireland’s innovative patient portal, is revolutionising how people engage with their health.
In a recent video, Peter Little shares how My Care has significantly impacted his life. Peter lives with complex health issues and receives care from 6 different consultants across three different Trusts in London, The Belfast Trust and The South Eastern Trust. “All my appointments appear on the app,” said Peter.
Peter highlights how the biggest benefit is accessing his test results, including blood tests, SRIs and scans. “I can help to monitor my own health because I can see trends from the app and I think nowadays that’s really important in many cases that you have to advocate for yourself.”
