During the webinar, GOSH’s experience was discussed, this included both pre and post Go-Live experiences, as well as implementations. Throughout, there was a key focus on important feedback, recommendations and insights of what to do and what not to do. Through these topics, expected issues and operational top tips were highlighted. Richard Collins provided some great advice when discussing the preparation for Go-Live, he stated how GOSH had a, “view that it was one team, that was part of our culture” certainly at Go-Live.

He added that the organisation had pulled together while focusing on how, “the first few weeks of any Go-Live are really challenging”.
He said, “It doesn’t matter how good you prepare, it is really difficult to take organisations through this level of change and so having that ‘everyone pulling together’ mentality is really important.
Sarah Newcombe also emphasised the importance of “getting everybody on board, believing they are going to the same target” of having better patient workflows and better visibility for patients.
