My Care
My Care allows you to access your medical record via a website or mobile device app.
My Care allows you to access your medical record via a website or mobile device app.
Through My Care you can access information like your medications, appointments and some test results.
It is free to use, and it is optional. You can continue interacting with healthcare services via traditional methods – letters, phone calls, etc.
For information to be accessible to a patient it must first be inputted into the encompass system.
South Eastern Trust was first to implement the encompass system in November 2023, Belfast Trust followed in June 2024, Northern Trust followed in November 2024 and Southern and Western Trusts finalised the implementation process in May 2025.
Members of the public interacting with Health and Social Care services are able to access information on their patient record.
Please note: My Care is only available in secondary care (your specialist in the hospital or community setting) This means primary care such as GP appointments or test results arranged by your GP will not be displayed.

You will need to have an active nidirect account to access to My Care.

Important information
My Care does not include primary care records (GP records or results of tests requested by your GP) or historical medical information before encompass was implemented in your Trust.
Some test results are released automatically and some are released after your clinician has seen and acted on them. You can ask for your specialist to release results for you too.
Social Care records are currently not available but will be added in the future.
My Care is an evolving system. It will change and develop based on patient experience and improving technology.
